As part of our Advanced Molecular Analysis (AMA) team, you will be at the forefront of analytical science, ensuring our pharmaceutical products meet the highest global standards for purity and safety.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level laboratory research and strategic project management. You will serve as a technical lead, coordinating both internal and external efforts to tackle complex analytical challenges, specifically focusing on nitrosamine impurities.
roles and responsibilities
You will lead the design and coordination of advanced experiments to quantify nitrosamine impurities across a diverse product portfolio.
This will involve:
Design and coordinate the development of analytical methods, from innovative sample preparations to cutting-edge chromatographic separations and detection, for the quantification of nitrosamines, in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company standards.
Review protocols and reports from internal and external laboratories.
Collaborate closely with internal and external laboratories to ensure right-first-time execution.
Represent the team in cross-functional project teams together with the analytical project leader and other analytical functions to translate the project needs into deliverables such as development, characterization and batch overview support.
Communicate, discuss and report the test results with experts, the cross-functional product team.
Lead analytical investigations and deviations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, GMP and safety.
how to succeed
You are a highly organized scientist with a deep technical background in mass spectrometry and a proactive, self-steering mindset.
You will also bring:
A PhD degree in analytical chemistry/pharmaceutical sciences or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Strong expertise in mass spectrometry (Triple Quadrupole and High-Resolution MS).
Proven experience in industry and a solid understanding of GMP regulations.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Experience in nitrosamines determination (clear asset).
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ICH, EMA, and FDA.
A results-driven approach with a sense of urgency.
