roles and responsibilities

This position is responsible for the being the Quality representative on all key project activities within Janssen

Pharmaceutical Sciences (JPS) UC as required by Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

  • Quality oversight & approval of all key projects (Site & Lab) ensuring all aspects of quality compliance

  • are achieved

  • Lead the Data Integrity Process & Governance for the Site

  • Review and approve all Engineering & Facilities related documentation

  • Responsible for all QA related equipment validation activities on capital projects

  • Review and approve all IT, Execution Systems & Automation project documentation

  • Assess, review and close out of project related change controls as appropriate

  • Attend meetings as a representative of QA such as: the Monthly Integrations Meeting & the Weekly

  • Engineering Meeting

  • Responsible for the Annual Site Validation Master Plan (SVMP) generation.


how to succeed

  • Third level Degree in a science or pharmaceutical discipline.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality, engineering or compliance role within the biological and/or pharmaceutical industry.

  • A working knowledge of engineering qualification activities within a GMP environment is desirable

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of industry regulations including those of FDA, HPRA, EMEA and other authorities.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month period. This is a hybrid position.
