QC Laboratory Systems within J&J Innovative Medicine
Cork, Little island, Ireland - Site based role
39 Hours per week
12 month contract
Focus on analytical instrument lifecycle management, compliance, and IT support
Highly regulated environment requiring adherence to:
Data Integrity
GxP / CSV
Audit readiness
Ongoing support of QC lab systems including:
Instrument upgrades and lifecycle management
IT infrastructure updates (e.g., Windows 10 → Windows11)
Support for new instrument onboarding and commissioning
Support and maintenance of QC analytical instruments and systems
Ensure systems remain compliant and audit-ready
Provide technical and IT support to QC operations
Provide QC laboratory systems support across:
AIQ (Analytical Instrument Qualification)
Calibration and Maintenance coordination
Troubleshooting (instrument + IT-related issues
CSV (Computer System Validation) activities
Full lifecycle management (installation →decommissioning)
IT & Systems Support:
System backup and restore activities
IT commissioning of new instruments
Operating system upgrades (Windows 10 to Windows11)
Troubleshooting network/connectivity issues
Compliance Activities:
Periodic review authoring and execution
Support audit readiness and inspections
Ensure ALCOA+ data integrity principles are met Regulatory frameworks: e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11
Experience required:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in QC laboratory instrument/system support
Strong understanding of:
ALCOA+ and Data Integrity principles
GxP / Regulatory compliance
Audit-facing environments
Proven experience in:
IT troubleshooting (lab systems)
Periodic review documentation (authoring/review)
Supporting validated systems
