Imagine your next role as a Facilities Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for supervising and directing all aspects of the operation, maintenance, repairs, and improvements to facilities from a quality expect. 

You will comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety and Environmental Regulations to ensure execution, compliance, and proper reporting.

You will ensure compliance with facilities standards as defined by J&J and External Governmental bodies.




Responsibilities

  • Manages Facilities and Facilities services according to GxP and EHS regulatory requirements; assures change implementation complies with local and federal regulations; evaluates impact and actions plan to assure proper implementation.

  • Manages and supports Facilities quality services like audits, validations, re-qualifications, RCAs, CAPAs, etc.

  • Identifies issues and risks that can cause failure to comply with quality regulatory requirements, downtime or impact the financial plan; reports to management, providing alternatives to assure issues or risks are mitigated.

  • Keeps standard operational procedures of the area updated and assures strict compliance to them.

  • Acts as Facilities subject matter expert for area improvements, deviation evaluations, regulatory audits, and capital justification.

  • Supports major process and facilities projects, including conducting project team meetings.

  • Ensures the establishment, implementation, execution, and monitoring of the facilities' environmental controls throughout the facilities maintenance system.

  • Ensures compliance with environmental legal requirements; manages Quality improvement plans as per site system.

  • Adopts and deploys QMS systems ownership through the facilities team.

  • Ensures the establishment, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the environmental management systems.

  • Assures compliance with applicable legal requirements.

  • Assures training in the assigned tasks has been delivered prior to execution.

  • Acts in accordance with the principles expressed in Our Credo and the Quality Statement in all negotiations and activities within and outside the company and assures these are met.

  • Develops, administers, and controls assigned budget to maximize utilization, reduces operational costs, and complies with corporate standards.

  • Prepares performance reports on accomplishments and situations of the area for the department head.

  • Delivers small projects or executes programs versus objectives. Independently plans and prioritizes work for completion. Promotes and implements innovative solutions in core areas. Improves processes and/or methodology.

  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level

  • For those who supervise or manage staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. 





To be successful in this role you have:


  • Expertise in quality assurance 

  • Proven experience in GxP 

  • Proficiency and proven experience in QA documentation 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Regulations.

  • Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.

  • A proactive personality and team player with a quality-driven with a feeling of facilities
