Quality Control Analyst/QC Analyst- Cork, Ireland (Graduates Welcome) 

 

Johnson & Johnson Worksense (via Randstad Sourceright) is currently seeking 16 QC Analysts for the expanding Janssen site in Ringaskiddy (Cork). These opportunities are for people who are passionate about testing and enjoy a company that offers cutting edge technology and is constantly at the forefront of medical research. You might be newly graduated or have a few years of lab experience and looking to take your career forward.

 

Key responsibilities

 

QC Analysts will be responsible for carrying out tasks and projects related to equipment, lab utilities and testing procedures as required by Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). You will partner with other Departments to ensure that all QC testing activities are completed in an efficient manner.

 

Required skills

  • BSc (Honors) in a scientific/technical discipline
  • Ability to work with teams and individuals
  • Problem solving
  • Use of best practices to improve business operations
  • Attention to detail 


 

Ideally you will also have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a QC laboratory but this is not essential for all roles and graduates will also be considered.

The 16 Quality Control Analysts' roles are split within different departments and teams including:  

  • QC Bioassay 
  • QC Separations 
  • QC In Process 
  • QC Micro 
  • QC Sample Management 
  • QC Lab Services (QC Associate Scientist Empower)

We are expanding our site to allow us to meet the critical needs of patients around the world.  The expansion plans involve an investment of more than €300 million that will increase the existing manufacturing space by an additional 19,100m2, provide employment for up to 450 people during construction and an extra 200 people once completed
