Imagine your next project working as a Quality Systems Inspector for DePuy Synthes. This role is primarily responsible for contributing to the batch review and release programme in support of manufacturing and new product development activities on site.  


This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with documented procedures and for the management of quality records arising from these activities.  This role must ensure that relevant documentation in the form of procedures and specifications are followed to guarantee compliance with Global Medical Device Standards and Regulations.


roles and responsibilities

This will involve: 

  • Responsible for batch record review, correction, and associated document control activities, for manufactured products.

  • Responsible for the release of Leeds production lots as directed by Quality Systems Analyst.

  • Work closely with Quality Systems, Operations and Planning teams to ensure the delivery of complete, accurate and on time batch records.

  • Responsible for storing DHR documentation effectively to ensure full traceability.

  • Responsible for accurate batch archiving and scanning activities.

  • Complete relevant transactions on databases to support business needs.

  • Responsible for cataloguing of historic records stored on Microfiche in preparation for digitization. 

  • Operate within the Company’s Quality Management System procedures and Code of Conduct

  • Maintain an excellent level of housekeeping in designated area.

  • Follow and promote relevant Company, HS&E and Quality standards to enable the site to achieve and maintain excellent results.


how to succeed

Essential:

  • At a minimum a second level qualification (preferably in Mathematics and / or English) or 3 or more years of related experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills

  • Good written and spoken communication


Desirable:   

  • Computer literate and familiar with Windows environment

  • Ability to prioritize and manage the workload and as required, be able to manage shifting priorities based on critical deadlines so that business needs are always met.

  • Personal responsibility for own actions.
