roles and responsibilities

This pivotal role drives the design, development, and implementation of transformative software solutions for J&J's manufacturing processes, acting as a technical leader and trusted advisor to ensure high-quality, robust applications are delivered within an agile team framework. This will involve: 

• Designing and implementing proof of concept solutions and creating advanced applications to deliver on the desired customer experience.

• Providing oversight and management of development activities, ensuring adherence to standards.

• Collaborating with Product Owners and Business Partners to review product requirements and user stories, propose viable implementation options, and define transformational technical solutions.

• Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance.

Working in an agile development team to iteratively deliver system updates and product releases.

• Creating elegant, well-tested solutions to complex problems with a quality-first mindset, including reviewing code to ensure zero critical defects.

how to succeed

This pivotal role drives the design, development, and implementation of transformative software solutions for J&J's manufacturing processes, acting as a technical leader and trusted advisor to ensure high-quality, robust applications are delivered within an agile team framework. You will also bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Technology Sciences or a related field.

• +6 years of relevant experience with technologies such as Typescript, ReactJs, NestJs, Azure/AKS, Unit Testing, Reactflow, Tailwind/ShadCn, CSS Modules, and database knowledge (Stored Procedures, JSON, T-SQL).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively.

• Proven experience in leading complex projects and the ability to lead and influence others at all levels within the organization.

• A diligent individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.

• Good organizational, decision-making, planning, and prioritization skills, coupled with strong facilitation skills to work across organizations and unite diverse individuals.
