Location: Leeds

Working mode: Hybrid, 3 days on-site and 2 WFH

Duration: 6 months (opportunity for a contract extension)

Language requirements: English and German

Hours: 37 hours per week

Imagine your next project as Replenishment Planner at DePuy Synthes (part of Johnson & Johnson). Work with a cross functional team across site to ensure products and services are received to site on time to plan.


roles and responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities (leadership, people development, planning and execution)

  • Timely action of MRP messages to create PO’s for direct raw materials needed to support the site Manufacturing plan ensuring no stock outs

  • Liaising with the Stores function to ensure timely receipt of raw materials

  • Ensure all purchasing specifications referenced on the MRP system are accurate and reflect the latest revision of the specification

  • Review and maintain the safety stock levels within the MRP system to reflect current usage and future forecast.

  • Proactively working with Accounts Payable to address and resolve invoice queries

  • To ensure that all administration activities required to support the supply base are executed in a timely and efficient manner.

  • To generate, maintain and communicate PP&L metrics to agreed timelines

  •  Ensures that all activities are carried out in compliance with all regulations and laws   governing business and quality operations

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, national, international and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.

  • Minimum of Degree or equivalent in a related discipline

  • Fluent German speaking


Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a supply chain or purchasing environment

  • Experienced ERP / Planning Systems User, able to execute in an ERP System

  • Working with spreadsheets/data analysis


Specific Technical Skills

  • Data mining skills through MS-Excel (or equivalent) strong organization skills and an aptitude for planning.

  • Accuracy with attention to detail 

  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions
