The Scrum Master Lead (Release Train Engineer) will facilitate, continuously improve, and ensure the timely delivery of solutions utilizing our Control Tower Product. The successful Scrum Master Lead (Release Train Engineer) must have a strong desire to leverage their organizational and communication skills, including business acumen, to understand business requirements, manage and optimize cross-team alignment, assist with economic decision-making, address our business partner’s requirements and provide business value.
This will involve: Responsibilities
System Design Implementation: Ensure the solutions architected and executed align with our Business Partner’s business and technology objectives. Track value delivery and outcomes against product roadmaps, to ensure delivery of work that is oriented around providing business value. Assist with execution and completion tracking of projects from beginning to end, including escalation of impediments to management.
Thought Leadership: Internal feedback loop to product management, sales, and customer success leadership teams regarding the customer experience, product features/functionality, and service implementation/management.
Customer Advocate: Acts as a client advocate, attending efforts including architecture design discussions and system demonstrations. Assist with economic decision-making to operate within operating budgets, as well as provide input on project resourcing. Deliver findings including key pain points where applicable.
Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present high-quality solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
Facilitate weekly Agile Release Train Sync. Escalates and tracks impediments to deliveries
Establishes and communicates Annual Calendars and guardrails for the portfolio and tracks against it
Ensure strategy and execution alignment – Work with stakeholders to help ensure we are delivering according to our capability roadmaps and hold the ART accountable
Drive continuous improvements – Supports and Agile Servant Leader Mindset. Encourages continuous improvement and participation in Communities of Practice. Supports coaching for ART-level roles. Encourage collaboration
Leads: Ability to lead & engage in solution discussions with Business and IT Stakeholders. Strong listening, facilitation, and time management skills.
Problem Solver: General problem-solving skills and ability to methodically understand and resolve complex issues. Must demonstrate the ability to focus ambiguous business needs into specific deliverables and roadmaps for the portfolio. Must demonstrate creative solutions to increase throughput in our deliveries to increase business value.
how to succeed
What We Look For In a Candidate
Education: Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 5+ years of experience.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of project management, including but not limited to IT projects, meeting facilitation, and economic decision-making within a set budget. Safe Agile.
SAFe Agile certification Is a MUST
