For our Engineering, Validation & Maintenance (EVM) department we are currently looking for:

Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician  

The technical focus area will primarily be electrical but also mechanical when you are involved with other U&B systems like water, steam, HVAC, gases, and various automation systems.

For this job you will be using our SAP system to plan, record, and close work orders, maintenance logs, and spare part usage. You will become a member of the EVM 24/7 support team to support first-line troubleshooting outside normal office hours (one shift every ~6 weeks).   

You as a Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

• Plan, schedule and execute preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Setting up work permits, switching plans, and instructions required for maintenance and inspection activities.
• Guidance of third parties during the execution of preventive/corrective maintenance activities.
• Regular consultation with the external Installation Responsible person to advise the organization on any additional or corrective maintenance.
• First-line troubleshooting in case of electrical or technical problems.
• Detect deviations or irregularities in the electrical installations.
• Performing or analyzing periodic checks and inspections.
• Closely involved in the drawing management within the department.
• Follow protocols and procedures to ensure compliance 
• Support departmental improvement and modification projects
• Guarantee the safety on the shopfloor

You as a Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician have:

• MBO Education (level 4) / MTS Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2- 4 years of work experience in a maintenance organization preferably in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical/process industry environment.
• Minimum of 4 years work experience in electrical engineering.
• Can-do attitude, organization skills, and very good team spirit. Assertiveness, you see and recognize what needs to happen.
• Self-awareness, and you can provide and receive feedback in a constructive way. You make yourself part of discussions and easily connect with people.
• Good Dutch communication skills (preferably also in English) as the job entails teamwork within a diverse and global organization.
• Operational troubleshooting capabilities and strong customer service mindset
• Additional training certificates such as NEN1010, NEN3140, VCA full
