Senior Finance Analyst – Inventory & Costing

roles and responsibilities

This role leads Gross to Net inventory financials for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Principal Operations (IMPO).

You will serve as the key contact for Gross to Net inventory financials, partnering with internal IMPO teams and external stakeholders, including Supply Chain Finance.

You will collaborate within a cross-country virtual team, working with colleagues in Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Gross to Net Inventory financials for the IMPO Management Reporting Companies for Actuals.

  • Be the ‘go to’ person investing in a strong business partnering network with stakeholders across the business to ensure key items impacting Actuals reporting are incorporated.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of actuals and budgets, within strict timelines and in accordance with Internal and External SOX compliance regulations.

  • Deliver the BVA Analysis Review to Senior Management and Controlling team. 

  • Maintain Master Data integrity for CFIN reporting and Anaplan.

  • Embrace change and challenging the status quo. Drive standardization and harmonization including process improvements and new ways of working. Contribute & influence digital transformation solutions and identify ways to live into technology enhancements to increase efficiency of internal processes. 

  • Proactively take ownership for personal development, ensuring a positive work life balance while managing partners.


how to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance. SAP and Supply Chain & Cost Accounting experience is an asset.

  • Strong financial, analytical, and digital skills, results and performance driven.

  • Team-player and collaborative working style.

  • Motivated, flexible, and pro-active. 

  • Strong communication skills & influencing skills, customer focus and proactive attitude, and ability to partner effectively with business.

  • Eager to take initiative, ability to work independently in an international environment and ability to deliver under strict timelines.

  • Fluency in English is a requirement.

  • Fluency in Excel and other digital tools (eg Copilot)

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
