roles and responsibilities

The System analyst will be a part of FSDM Run state Reporting team and will be supporting the management reporting solution across all three sectors. Key responsibilities will be providing support for the existing reporting solutions incl. ensuring data integrity of published data as well as recommending and/or implementing additional reporting requirements on AFO/Alteryx/Tableau /SAP Analytics Cloud. The role also includes communication and business partnering with numerous stakeholders spread across EMEA region and other regional CoE’s 


This includes:


Development and Support of the EMEA PHARM SigniFi AFO- reporting platform


  • User support and issue resolution in close co-operation with the global reporting support team

  • Manage Legacy reporting on Tableau (Medtech)

  • Assist with the documentation of Operational and Enhancement Processes

  • Understand financial impact of reconciling issues and work with data integrity/system teams to make appropriate suggestions to tackle issues.

  • Expert understanding of the ERP data feeds that are utilized within the reporting solution; understand the lowest levels of data available so that you can facilitate related investigations and recommend appropriate action.

  • Continuously contribute to the improvement of overall data quality.

  • Proactively contribute to maintaining and improving a strong internal control environment.


Business Relationships


  • Business partner stakeholders to shape reporting requirements, then prioritize, track and deliver enhancements / operational activities within agreed timelines.

  • Support Commercial analysts on how to utilize the reporting solutions to develop expert local knowledge.

  • Deliver end user training to educate others on the system and processes behind the numbers.

  • Act as the intermediary between system and business to ensure voices are heard, actively providing feedback to related teams and resolve issues as necessary.


how to succeed

  • Qualified or studying Finance / Accounting or BI.

  • Systems qualifications preferred 

  • Analytical, problem solving, willingness to learn, attention to details, initiative to follow through on directives, and sensitivity knowledge of global partners/cultures/norms is critical for this role and required. 

  • Good communication skills, operate with a degree of independence and able to collaborate in a highly matrixed environment 

  • Strong technical / analytical skills with a complex financial accounting and systems environment.

  • Problem solving and ability to deal with ambiguity desirable.

  • High energy & positivity, self-motivation and proactiveness is a must.

  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

  • Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations

Preferred:

  • Exposure to statutory reporting and accounting in a previous or current role

  • Strong understanding of standard methodologies in Accounting and Financial Systems, including SAP

  • Experience of working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment



Benefits

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a minimum of 12 months with a possibility of extending.
