Senior System Analyst - Finance (System and Reporting Team)

Location:  Pinewood Campus, Wokingham, England

This role is Hybrid  - working on site for approx 3 days per week with the rest being worked Remotely 

This is a Full-Time position working Mon-Fri but can be flexible on hours

We are currently recruiting a Senior System Analyst to join our contingent workforce in Wokingham.

This will be an initial contract opportunity for 12 months (Maternity Cover)

The Role:


The Senior Analyst will be a part of the Systems and Reporting team and will be supporting the management reporting solution across all three sectors. 

Key responsibilities will be providing support for the existing reporting solutions incl. ensuring data integrity of published data as well as recommending and/or implementing additional reporting requirements on Alteryx/Tableau. 

The role also includes communication and business partnering with numerous stakeholders spread across EMEA region and other regional CoE's 
 

Main Responsibilities:

Support Commercial analysts to use reporting solution Tableau by developing expert knowledge
 

Business partnering to HMD Business to shape reporting requirements, then prioritize, track and deliver through working with the global team or implement requirements not covered in the global solutions in Alteryx & Tableau 
 

Deliver end user training to educate users on the systems and processes behind the numbers
 

Gain understanding of the ERP data feeds into the reporting solution and ability to dive into lowest level to investigate reporting issues and recommend appropriate action
 

Understand financial impact of reconciling issues and make appropriate suggestions to tackle issue
 

Contribute to the improvement of overall data quality
 

Involvement in strategic finance and business projects
 

Proactively contribute to maintaining and improving a strong internal control environment
 

Present status of Enhancements and tickets to related FD and support related requirements.


Knowledge / Experience / Skills required:

Experience of Alteryx and Tableau or similar application 
 

Experience of SQL / SAP / JDE / Cognos / Teradata financial systems 
 

Qualified with recognised financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA etc) or equivalent highly advantageous
 

Strong technical/analytical skills within a complex financial accounting and systems environment 
 

Problems solving and ability to deal with ambiguity desirable
 

Strong interpersonal & communication skills with an ability to partner with people at different levels 
 

High energy/positivity, self-motivated and proactive is a must
