Location: Zug (3 days office, 2 days home working)
Contract till: December 2024 (highly likely to be extended)
Preferred Related Industry Experience: Broad Healthcare & Life Sciences (preferable), Personal Care or Chemical industries
The Role:
The Sourcing Manager, Global APIs will be responsible for driving value with strategic API suppliers to Kenvue across the assigned portfolio. The individual will be required to execute category strategies and activities and work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure supply quality and continuity. The position will be measured based on total value creation: financial performance, quality, service and compliance adherence.
Sourcing Manager - APIs scope of responsibilities include:
Drive the Procurement vision: shaping supplier solutions that will transform healthcare.
Sourcing. Ensure execution of category strategies and activities in collaboration with key stakeholders for reducing total costs of externally purchased materials, goods and services and improving levels of quality, service and value to the Business
Change Management. Work with cross-functional teams to efficiently manage supplier changes, ensuring supply reliability and continuity.
Contracting. Systematically and efficiently manage contract creation, approval, administration and compliance to maximize financial and operational performance and minimize risk
Business Engagement. Manage the needs and expectations of the Business to drive satisfaction while ensuring compliance to procurement standards and alignment with procurement strategies
Procurement Strategy & Enablement. Develop and maintain the strategic direction for the Procurement function, ensure alignment to strategic goals and standards and effectively manage the enabling tools and technology required across the function
Supplier Relationship Management. Manage the interactions with critical organizations that supply the goods and services to Kenvue including relationship building, data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement
Key Responsibilities
30% Sourcing. Ensure execution of category strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders for driving value creation
30% Change Management. Work with cross-functional teams to efficiently manage supplier changes, ensuring supply reliability and continuity.
20% Contracting. Systematically and efficiently manage contract creation, approval, administration and compliance
10% Business Engagement. Manage the needs and expectations of the Business to drive satisfaction while ensuring compliance to procurement standards and alignment with procurement strategies
10% Procurement Strategy & Enablement. Develop and maintain the strategic direction for the Procurement function
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor degree, MBA desirable - Preferred Area of Study: Business, life sciences or related field
Ability to accomplish projects through interpersonal skills, leadership style and broad operational expertise is required
Strong level of proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.)
Demonstrated project management and leadership experience in managing cross functional/cross company projects is required
Demonstrated ability to make difficult decisions in a timely fashion is required
Planning and organizational skills are required
Analytical skills required to perform data analyses in support of sourcing strategy
Negotiation and relationship management experience required
Ability to think strategically to drive end-to-end value for Kenvue is required
Strong business acumen is required
Great presentation and communication skills are required
