Imagine your next project acting as a Study Responsible Physician for a global healthcare leader, where you will drive critical medical reviews, safety monitoring, and research projects that directly impact patient lives.
The Study Responsible Physician manages research projects and identifies opportunities for improvements to achieve business goals. This role ensures project timelines and all required project milestones are met. It also ensures assessment and selection, test method development and validation, claims support, stability protocols including preservative efficacy testing, preparation of research reports and other documentation for internal use and government submission. The successful candidate reviews and evaluates research and development protocols to ensure activities comply with industry, company and regulatory expectations for safety, efficacy and compatibility with standard clinical practice. Additionally, this position provides for scientific direction and leadership of research and development activities in support of selected product development projects, while managing the work of laboratory scientists and technicians within a designated area of responsibility, and coordinating activities with external contract laboratories and manufacturing sites. The role involves hiring, motivating, developing, and mentoring staffs to provide employee growth, as well as presenting on programs at senior management meetings and ensuring the scientific integrity and quality of all data produced.

Competency in ensuring assessment and selection, test method development and validation, claims support, stability protocols, and preparing research reports for internal and government submission.
Capability to review and evaluate research and development protocols for compliance with industry, company, and regulatory expectations.
Proven leadership and scientific direction skills for research and development activities.
Experience managing laboratory scientists and technicians and coordinating with external contract laboratories and manufacturing sites.
Ability to hire, motivate, develop, and mentor staff.
