Supply Chain Analyst 

Location: Leiden 

Duration: initial 12 months contract

Imagine your next role as a Supply Chain Analyst and be part of a global planning team of the Materials Management department of the production site located in Leiden. 



Key responsibilities: 

  • Participate in production and supply network planning

  • Responsible for the DRP and MPS process. 

  • Decide on production and shipments to various regions across the globe and allocate available inventory based on multiple factors such as safety stock, customer priorities, inventory position, customer priorities, etc. 

  • Support in analysis of KPIs such OTIF, and backorder, provide root-cause analysis and suggestions for improvement. 

  • Report to the Materials Manager and have a dotted line to the global plan Lead based in the US.




To be successful in this role you have:

  • HBO/Bachelor, preferable WO/Master – Supply chain/planning focus

  • Language skills: English/Dutch, and preferably additional languages 

  • Able to work with different cultures across time zones.

  • APICS – CSCP / SCOR certification is a plus 

  • Strong Excel skills and experience, (pivots, xlookups, sumifs, power suite, vba, graphs) 

  • Analytical skills

  • Plan/scheduling experience/background (DRP, Allocation, shipments, OTIF, BO, should be familiar terms)

  • Strong execution abilities

  • Knowledge of Systems such as: ERP JDE, Manugustics/ Blue Yonder
