CAR-T is an advanced therapy that uses the patient's own immune system to fight the disease. The patient's T-cells are genetically modified to eliminate cancer cells. This cutting-edge, innovative technology offers a hopeful outlook to patients for whom other therapies have no or insufficient effect.
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a CAR-T Supply Chain Planner, located in Beerse, Belgium. This role is part of the regional EMEA CAR-T planning team, reporting into the global Vein2Vein team which is one of the functional pillars within Advanced Therapies.
In this role you will be the Supply chain point of contact towards different internal and external stakeholders from a logistics, planning & forecasting point of view. You will be working closely with key functions such as Warehousing, Transportation, Quality and MRP planning.
roles and responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day operational replenishments between CAR-T sites (coordination, ordering, issue management & inventory management) 
- E2E management of materials & planning 
- Participate or lead small supply planning improvement projects 
- Support in SAP EU2 BST and UAT 
- Travel is occasional to other J&J local facilities in Gent or Belgian based suppliers. 
how to succeed
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent discipline is required. 
- At least 3 years experience in Supply Chain Operations 
- Experience with SAP is required 
- Planning / Scheduling experience is an asset 
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset 
- Start-up/can-do mentality, where you proactively search for solutions 
- Be able to cope with a rapid changing environment 
- Challenge the status quo and think outside the box 
- See diversity as an asset 
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively towards different audiences and cultures internal/external 
- Understanding of escalation processes and requirements 
- Good written and verbal skills 
- Language requirement is English
