Location: Geel, Belgium
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 40 hours per week

roles and responsibilities
Lead and/or execute the evaluation and piloting of identified sustainability opportunities (Solvent recovery) in the API production processes in collaboration with required partners like R&D organization, external partners, manufacturing organization.
Give input to the design of a process/framework that will focus on reducing the overall footprint of the production processes.
Help in the identification and assessment of sustainability opportunities for the site.
Bringing in new ideas and sustainability insights to help prepare for a sustainable future
Build and manage a project plan with the required roles & responsibilities and report to a cross-functional team
Assist in projects, helping projects progress and finish
Actively promote EH&S, support campaigns/programs such as “Safe behavior’
Act when violation of EH&S rules is observed and stimulate appropriate behaviour
Reporting of (near) accidents, incidents, deviations
An ambassador for sustainability.
how to succeed
You will be a motivated, self-starter able to work independently with demonstrated problem solving skills and a teamplayer. You will also bring:
Degree in Engineering or Science (Chemistry preferred), Bachelor Degree or Equivalent.
Fluent in written and spoken Flemish / Dutch and English
Knowledge of validation/qualification of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes & products and/or equipment especially in purification technologies/processes for sustainability.
Knowledge of API manufacturing site systems and procedures.
Knowledge of process development and required analytics in purification technologies/processes for sustainability.
Ability to work under pressure, handle conflicting interests, and take decisions.
Ability to work independently under general direction, having a good sense of prioritization of assigned tasks goals and manage time accordingly.
Project management skills being able to build and manage a project plan with the required roles & responsibilities and report to a cross-functional team.
Customer and business focus.
Problem solving skills and attitude.
Hands-on, result oriented attitude.
Able to interpret common scientific and technical information.

benefits
This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month duration and has a chance of extension. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site and 2 days from home)
Meal vouchers of €7 for each worked day.
€80 net allowance monthly for expenses ('onkostenvergoeding')
€250 in Eco vouchers yearly (If worked full time for a whole year. If not, this will be calculated on a pro rata basis.)
Pension insurance ('groepsverzekering')
Hospitalisation insurance with DKV
13th month pay / Year-end bonus. (Requirement: 6 months with Ausy/Randstad Professionals)
