Imagine your next project joining our multifaceted Process Science and Modeling team to support our MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology) organisation to unlock the power of data-driven decision-making.



roles and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners and domain experts to understand their requirements and translate them into visually appealing and interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau solutions, including data models, visualisations, and interactive dashboards.

  • Apply sophisticated Tableau functionalities, such as calculated fields, parameters, sets, and hierarchies, to build insightful and user-friendly visualisations.

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by performing data validation, data cleansing, and data blending activities.

  • Optimise Tableau performance by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and implementing standard processes.

  • Recommend innovative solutions and improve existing Tableau applications.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including engineers and scientists, to integrate Tableau visualisations into larger data ecosystems.

  • Conduct Tableau training sessions and provide mentorship to end-users on applying Tableau optimally.



how to succeed

2+ years of confirmed experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role, with a solid portfolio of Tableau visualisations and dashboards.

You will also bring:

  • Proficient in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep Builder.

  • Solid understanding of data visualisation principles and standard processes.

  • Solid knowledge of SQL and experience in working with relational databases.

  • Able to build positive relationships to drive outcomes.

  • Motivated, self-starter that is able to work independently.


Preferred:

  • Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex datasets and derive practical insights.

  • Superb communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams and business partners.

  • Meticulous attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

  • SQL / Teradata experience is preferable but not essential

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion and understanding of Finance, Finance Systems and Analysis

  • Understanding complexity and problem solving

  • Self-motivated and keen to grow and develop

  • Proactively taking ownership and accountability

  • Driving projects through to completion

  • Thriving in an ever-changing environment



Benefits

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a minimum of 12 months and will be reviewed for an extension.
