We are currently recruiting a Technical Operations Engineer to join our contingent workforce in Janssen in Leiden for a 12-month contract. 

 

As a Technical Operations Assistant Engineer, you are primarily responsible for the execution of verification and validation activities for supporting processes (e.g. cleaning, mixing, temperature control, and sterilization)  


 

Responsibilities

  •  Coordinate and execute validation studies
  • Write and review validation protocols and reports
  • Connect with operations for the timing of execution and communicate status and issues
  • Act as SME lead for one or more validation sub-categories. Own the documentation and training curricula of those categories ensuring that they are up to date and relevant.
  • Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement initiatives for Technical Operations.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures (e.g., Quality, EH&S, Business, Credo, etc.).
  • Act as Project Core Team Member for small projects and as such:

o   Define validation strategy.

o   Represent TO in a multidisciplinary team and align with extended team members.

o   Plan and deliver team/project Goals and Objectives.


 

To be successful in this role you have:

  • BS degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering, and Technical Subjects.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing,  GMP regulated environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of validation. Preferably in the field of large molecule APIs.
