Johnson & Johnson Worksense (via Randstad Sourceright) is responsible for finding, engaging and contracting talent for the Johnson & Johnson contingent workforce.

 

We are currently recruiting a Technical Writer to join our contingent workforce on a growing team in Janssen Pharmaceuticals in Cork for an initial 6month contract. 

 

About Janssen Pharmaceuticals:

Janssen Sciences Ireland UC, (previously Janssen Biologics), is part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, the world’s most comprehensive and broadly-based manufacturer of healthcare products and related services.  Our site in Ringaskiddy was established in 2005 on a 100-acre site with an investment of €500 million. We manufacture a range of biopharmaceutical products indicated for the treatment of conditions that include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and cancer.  

We are expanding our site to allow us to meet the critical needs of patients around the world.  The expansion plans involve an investment of more than €300 million that will increase the existing manufacturing space by an additional 19,100m2, provide employment for up to 450 people during construction and an extra 200 people once completed.

 

The Role: 

The Technical Writer will report to the Snr. Manager of Knowledge Management 

 

This team is currently in the design phase of creating a Knowledge Management transformation process, that consolidates E2E standard methodologies (for New product Introduction (NPI), Lifecycle management (LCM) process and Technology and Innovation), connects teams and business processes and engages with the Technical Operations Platforms and COEs to deliver consistency in process execution. 

 

The Knowledge Management Team is seeking a Technical writer, who can collaborate with subject matter experts to develop Playbooks that describe standard Business and Technical Processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with relevant internal technical and business SME(s) to build and shape standard frameworks, producing high-quality documents (e.g., playbooks).
  • Contribute to the development, review, authoring and improvement of Business and Technical Playbooks. 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure quality and accuracy of playbooks. 
  • Ensures documentation references are effectively linked and structured in a sustainable manner. 

Work with Technical Owner(s) to 

  • Understand the required key critical information for each product to support TO activities such as Technical Transfers, NPI and LCM
  • Obtain an in-depth understanding to build technical libraries for the product portfolios in the Small and Large molecule platforms
  • Consolidate the information in a centralised location in a sustainable manner
  • Coordinate execution of activities to meet planned delivery timelines. 

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in the relevant technical field.
  • 2-4 year industry experience in a GMP environment
  • Proven ability of working with teams, to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an ability for prioritisation
  • Proved experience in the delivery and execution of technical processes
  • Strong social skills, influencing without authority, setting priorities and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the following systems would be preferred:
  • Sharepoint, Trackwise, TruVault, Excel, Word
