Position Overview:
The company:
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Trade Compliance Analyst, located in Switzerland.
The focus for this role will be operational oversight and execution of trade compliance processes to guarantee compliant and efficient customs clearance activities and adherence to the Global Trade Compliance Standards.
The role:
The role requires close collaboration and partnership with the different functions to strive for reliable day to day inbound operations in support of required service to the Customer.
Key Responsibilities:
To deploy and develop customs and trade compliance strategies.
Represent Trade Compliance operations in essential company’s projects related to legislation changes, flows set up, operations movement between countries, FTA application, provide targeted support on trade compliance aspects of supply chain, logistics, or transport operations projects. Act as Trade Compliance DRI, being a single point of contact for trade compliance related questions.
To liaise and collaborate with other Trade compliance teams to complete and implement global Trade Compliance Standards, processes, and tools.
To advise on and provide targeted support on trade compliance aspects of supply chain, logistics, or transport operations projects.
To manage relationships with Customs Clearing Agents via metrics and by providing them strategic directions and guidance, as well as driving continuous improvements.
Deliver on CIP targets through operational improvements whiles ensuring service, quality, reliability and compliance.
To ensure compliant and timely reporting to customs authorities.
To ensure smooth internal and external trade compliance audits.
Proactively surfaces and resolves key issues with a sense of urgency, demonstrates continuous improvement including transportation lanes, resource management, leveraged value.
Conduct monthly post entry review, provides expert insights on obligations of J&J companies importing and exporting Consumer, MD and Pharma products and materials.
To implement improvements and adjustments to trade-related activities of J&J companies and customs brokers identify and initiate post entry corrections (PEC) based on JnJ working instructions
Education & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience in Trade Compliance area
Experience with international trade flows and import/export documentation
Good interpersonal skills. Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different organizations
University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
