As a key contributor to the DePuy Synthes team, your expertise will ensure that innovative orthopaedic products—ranging from joint reconstruction and trauma to spine and sports medicine solutions—are delivered compliantly and efficiently to customers, patients, and professionals across the EMEA region. We're seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to lead customs compliance operations, bonded warehouse oversight, and end-to-end trade activities supporting DePuy Synthes product lines. This is a pivotal opportunity to be part of a high-performing, mission-driven global team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Shipment Coordination

• Support the processing of import and export shipments.

• Monitor shipment status and follow up on delays.

• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.

• Escalate shipment issues to senior team members when required.

• Prepare and maintain import and export documentation.

• Ensure shipping records are filed and retained accurately.

• Assist with commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.

• Maintain shipment tracking logs and databases.

• Administrative Support

• Manage team mailboxes and respond to routine enquiries.

• Schedule meetings and support team communications.

• Maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions.

• Assist with data entry and record updates in company systems.

• Trade Compliance Support

• Assist with maintaining product and customs data.

• Support audits by retrieving documentation and records.

• Help track broker activities and support issue resolution.

• Follow established trade compliance procedures and policies.

• Compile basic shipment and compliance reports.

• Maintain tracking spreadsheets and performance metrics.

• Support the team with routine data collection and updates.

How to Succeed

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CCS, CAMS) is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade compliance or relevant fields, with a focus on EMEA operations.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with senior-level stakeholders.

• Proven ability in stakeholder management and influence-based leadership.

Other:

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Benefits

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 12 Months.
