Operations Trainer

Location: Barnahely, Cork

Duration: 12 months

Hours: 39 hours p/w - onsite

roles and responsibilities

Reporting to the Training Manager, this position is responsible for providing training support to the identified organisations. Identifies, designs, delivers and tracks learning and development activities consistent with a cGMP environment. Duties include: 

• Coordinate and schedule Site Induction for New Hires

• Site Administrators for Learning Management System (LMS) for Technicians.

• Will involve giving gowning training to new hires

• Accurately track and document training according to cGMP guidelines. Performs data entry on training activities, issues reports and department communications. 

• Coordinates/schedules and deliver training programs within designated employee groups to fulfill on organizational expectations regarding current cGMP guidelines. 

• Performs required reporting on training metrics for Operations.

• Create and maintain program documentation (training plans, instructor guides, visuals, etc.) to support the overall structured manufacturing training program.

• Qualify technicians as on-the-job trainers.

• Deliver other required training, as assigned.

• Determine appropriate training method for work instruction updates.

• Management of LMS to main compliance

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and proactive along with excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and great customer focus. You will also bring:

• Knowledge of training methodologies and proven experience at designing and delivering training programs to inexperienced and experienced personnel.

• Excellent Communication Skills.

• High proficiency in MS Office – particularly in MS Excel 

• Experience in Learning Management Systems - desirable

• Third level qualification in Science, Engineering or Training discipline. - desirable
