Mentor is looking for a senior Warehouse Project Manager to support the installation of a new dipping machine in the warehouse. The warehouse workstream is part of the larger DIP3 installation program.

 

Since the machine will consume the space of the warehouse, additional external storage needs to be used. 

The Warehouse Project Manager has three deliverables:

1.      The sourcing and onboarding of a reliable third-party partner that supports the Mentor overall and warehouse requirements.

2.      Review, adjust and introduce new processes if required to deal with the new supplier and changed environment with all relevant departments.

3.      Manage the operational coordination of the warehouse interests during the implementation of the project such that both day-to-day operations can continue and the project is supported to meet the objectives set by the program.

The sourcing is the first step that needs to be addressed where the need is to outsource approx. 100 pallet places including dangerous goods and look for opportunities to get daily or even multiple times day supply from this warehouse to mentor.

 

We are looking for a professional with experience as an area Warehouse Project Manager such in procurement/logistics/warehousing and process design/optimization. Strong interpersonal skill is able to guide and direct SME to fulfill project tasks, develop ambitious project plans, and able to execute together with the SME, and be responsible for achieving milestones. The Warehouse Project Manager needs to be able to see the bigger picture and responsibility of the workstream in the program, it must be a self-starter with the ability to create and drive action. The team will exist out of 3 SMEs with various extended members.

Experienced in warehouse tenders/outsourcing required, medical devices supply chain, and GDP, GMP, GxP is a pre.

 

The Warehouse Project Manager will be reporting to the Materials Manager and indirectly to the program manager.
