Hours: 39 hours per week (full time on-site)

roles and responsibilities

Responsible for the planning and execution of project-related workshops and events. This will involve: 

  • Flawless event planning and execution of critical workshops and meetings to enable successful communication and delivery of key project milestones.

  • Weekly & Monthly Meetings (e.g. Core Team, Sponsors, Stakeholders, Town Halls, etc.)

  • F2F meetings, VIP Visits, offsite days, team buildings events

  • Support collection of input for the Meeting & Communication Decks

  • Lead / Host / Screen share during interactive workshops and meetings virtually or in person

  • Collaborate and partner with vendors (e.g. consultants, external venues, catering etc.) in order to achieve optimal delivery of services required.

  • Stakeholder management and facilitation of adhoc logistical requirements of critical project personnel.

  • Lead / Host interactive workshops and meetings virtually or in person.

  • Collaborate with team & source gifts & merchandise as required

  • Manage Core Team members calendars


how to succeed

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have strong people-orientation skills, excellent attention to detail and will have exception time, resource management and organisational skills. Excellent effective, independent decision-making ability. You will also bring:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 -5+ years of project coordination/planning experience 


Desirable:

  • Extensive knowledge managing vendors and partnering with internal business cohorts in supporting operative events

  • Demonstrated planning and execution of large-scale events virtually, internally and at external venues 

  • Experience leading a diversity of events, from small or medium-sized to large events/celebrations in the firm or at external venues

  • Strong commitments to making the organization feel like a great place to work for other employees

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month period and has a strong chance of extension.
