The Advanced Technologies and Innovations Deployment Specialist is responsible for deploying advanced technologies and innovations utilizing the End-to-End Innovation Deployment Process. This role involves deploying technologies and innovations with site functions and product teams, being accountable for the deployment strategy, driving value proposition and value capture, acting as the Global Technology Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for deployed technologies, ensuring global alignment with key stakeholders, and authoring technical documents.
roles and responsibilities
1. Deployment of Technologies and Innovations:
Coordinate and manage the deployment of advanced technologies and innovations with site functions and product teams.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely deployment.
Provide technical expertise and support to ensure smooth implementation and integration of technology
Support the preparation of the LRFP and associated business cases for business planning aligned with site and global processes
Ensure knowledge is successfully captured and transferred to technology receiving site
2. Accountability for Deployment Strategy:
Take ownership of the deployment strategy for advanced technologies and innovations.
Develop a comprehensive deployment plan aligned with organizational objectives.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy and make adjustments as needed to optimize deployment outcomes.
3. Driving Value Proposition and Value Capture:
Identify and communicate the value proposition of the deployed technologies and innovations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators and metrics for measuring value capture.
Continuously monitor and assess the value generated by the deployed technologies, providing insights for improvement and optimization.
4. Global Technology Single Point of Contact (SPOC):
Act as the primary SPOC for deployed technologies and innovations globally.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between various teams, departments, and stakeholders.
Provide guidance, support, and resolutions to deployment-related queries and challenges.
5. Ensuring Global Alignment with Key Stakeholders:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at a global level.
Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, expectations, and visions for the deployment.
Regularly communicate updates and progress to stakeholders, ensuring their alignment and support throughout the deployment process.
Help build a culture of collaboration, agility, innovation, and competitiveness through constantly seeking business insight while also maintaining a focus on the external technology landscape.
6. Authoring Technical Documents:
Create and maintain technical documents, including installation guides, user manuals, and specifications.
Ensure that technical documents are accurate, clear, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Continuously update and improve technical documentation to reflect changes in technologies or deployment methodologies.
how to succeed
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in deploying advanced technologies and innovations using the End-to-End Innovation Deployment Process.
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to drive strategic decision-making based on value proposition and value capture.
Proficient in technical writing, paying attention to detail and clarity.
Familiarity with industry best practices and standards related to technology deployment.
