Location:  Leiden (onsite role) 


Hours: 40 hours (12 months contract role)


Essential: Background from pharmaceutical /medical devices, 3 years + within non conformances & validation, spoken English & Dutch are required

Key Responsibilities:


  • Automation Support: Provide expertise in automating lab systems processes and standards, ensuring efficient data management and integration with existing laboratory technologies.

  • Project Participation and Leadership: Actively participate in or lead lab systems initiatives and projects that align with business needs, such as the implementation of analytical equipment systems and global platforms (e.g., LIMS, SDMS) and identify opportunities for paperless solutions.

  • Documentation Management: Create, review, and update relevant documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols, and technical specifications, to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with local and global key stakeholders, effectively representing the team in meetings and discussions to ensure alignment on lab systems projects and initiatives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and drive continuous improvement projects within the lab environment, utilizing lean principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall quality.

  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure adherence to compliance best practices, Environmental Health and Safety Standards (EHSS) regulations, and lean principles across all laboratory activities and projects.

  • Work Related Activities: Perform other work-related activities as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to supporting team goals.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze data from lab systems to provide insights and reports that inform decision-making and track the progress of projects and improvements.

  • Identification of Non-Conformances: Monitor and review products, processes, and systems to identify deviations from established standards and specifications.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis to determine the underlying factors contributing to non-conformance, utilizing techniques.



Profile


  • 3 years + in non-conformances & validation

  • Fluent in ENglish & Dutch 

  • Previous pharmaceutical experience

  • Automation expert
