BE - Research Scientist
Johnson & Johnson Worksense (via Randstad Sourceright) is responsible for finding, engaging and contracting talent for the Johnson & Johnson contingent workforce.
We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to perform laboratory research work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional genomics screens using the CRISPR/Cas9 technology.
- Scientific evaluation of generated results.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory regulations, analytical methods and specifications, GMP and safety.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on expertise with tissue culture of cell lines is required.
- Practical experience with general cellular and molecular biology techniques such as PCR, transfection and lentiviral transduction is a plus.
- PhD in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemical Engineering, or related life science discipline. OR Master with a few years of relevant working experience.
- Efficient, flexible and dynamic.
- Customer focused and result performance driven.
- Sense of Urgency.
- You have a good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
- You are able to work independently, though you are also a team player.
