Communications and Administrative Coordinator


Location: Wokingham, Pinewood Campus

Duration: Contract role until the end of December 2023 (likely contract extension)

Hours: 37.5/per week

Working mode: Hybrid (3 days on site, ideally Tues & Wed and 2 days WFH)

Pay rate range: £15-£19.50/per hour


Imagine your next project as Communications and Administrative Coordinator at Johnson & Johnson Vision. The Communications and Administrative Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the coordination of internal and external comms within the Johnson & Johnson EMEA communications function. This is a varied role supporting a broad spread of communications activities across the regional function for Johnson & Johnson Vision.


roles and responsibilities

  • Providing admin support for team POs (assist with PO support, budget tracking against POs as needed), expenses, travel arrangements and meetings

  • Regulatory approvals through our approval system – Veeva (previous knowledge of Veeva or a similar regulatory system would be beneficial but not essential)

  • Supporting the preparation, management and follow up for quarterly Town Halls, including presentation and polling support

  • Managing content on our intranet, including supporting on article postings, editing and timely reviews

  • Managing editorial calendar by working with communications team and agency to ensure we’re on track with activity

  • Support distribution of communication messages, including emails and leadership alerts through Salesforce

  • Country communications queries and requests

  • Event arrangements and support

  • Supporting preparation of major congresses and the communications aspects of annual Kick Off Meetings

  • Meeting logistics support (as needed)


how to succeed

  • The ideal candidate would have a relevant (Marketing, PR, Communications etc.) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

  • The role would suit someone familiar with digital processes and who has experience of and enjoys a fast-paced communications environment. Training on systems will be provided.

  • Previous work experience in a corporate, team setting utilizing common office online tools such as Microsoft and a good understanding of digital and social media channels.

  • Previous Sharepoint and Salesforce usage is a plus, but not essential.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate £15-£19.50/per hour. This contract will run until end of December 2023 and has a strong chance of extension.
