Location: Pinewood, Wokingham - Hybrid - 3 days a week on site
Duration: 12 Months - good chance of extension
Hours: 37
Pay rate range: Depending on experience
Position Summary:
This role is to support the Corporate Communications Function across Johnson & Johnson Vision EMEA
The Communications Specialist plays a key role in managing the administrative and financial activities of the Johnson & Johnson Vision EMEA communications function. This is a varied role supporting a busy communications team across the regional function, which also offers opportunities to build communications experience more broadly, where relevant.
The role will include but not be limited to:
Managing the purchasing and invoicing process end-to-end for the function, including processes invoices and purchase orders and budget tracking.
Supporting the team with administrative duties such as expenses, travel arrangements and meetings and event support
Supporting preparation of major congresses, launches, events and the communications aspects of significant meetings and events ongoing.
Supporting the preparation, management and follow up for quarterly Town Halls, including presentation and polling support.
Managing editorial calendar by working with the communications manager to ensure we’re on track with activity.
Support distribution of communication messages, including emails and leadership alerts through Salesforce
Regulatory approvals through our approval system – Veeva (previous knowledge of
Veeva or a similar regulatory system would be beneficial but not essential)
Country communications queries and requests
Developing and maintaining administrative processes
Keeping an organised online file system
Digital/editing skills are a plus but are not essential.
Requirements:
The role would suit someone who is highly organised and process-driven with the ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency in mind. Proven skills in administrative and basic financial processes is preferred. Training will be provided on systems, but the ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to think critically and use logical analysis to complete tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines.
For the right candidate, this role also has the scope to extend into supporting the communications team with the delivery of communications campaigns for Johnson & Johnson Vision.
