Contracting Systems Analyst - Leeds or Wokingham (Hybrid)

This role is a Hybrid role so you will be required to be on site 2 or 3 days a week. However, we have 2 sites available, Leeds or Pinewood Wokingham.

The Project/role:

The J&J Medical business has a total sales value of ~$650m and sales team of ~450, split across 23 platforms.


 

The Contracts & Tenders Team are an integral part of the Commercial Business Team driving a leading class internal and external customer experience, with customer mantra being ‘easy to do business with’


 

This role will focus on supporting internal and external stakeholders to ensure that systems and data requirements are met and provided by available platforms/systems. 



 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Pricing systems and tools

  • Lead the development and implementation of systems and reporting tools
  • Attend EMEA TOP community monthly meetings
  • Attend local meetings and to provide advice, guidance and assistance in relation to systems discussions
  • Management of user access
  • Lead on the training & testing for systems and reporting tools
  • Responsible for completion of system usage checks to ensure S.O.D
  • Ensure all SOX compliance responsibilities are met on behalf of the Contracting Team 


 

ECatalogues

  • Design and create effective price catalogue templates that meet the full requirements of external and internal stakeholders 
  • Ensure relevant interactions with customers regarding set ups etc to drive efficient and effective use including face to face meetings as and when required
  • Create a weekly report to ensure ECatalogue updates are completed
  • Ensure all ECatalogues assigned to the role are updated following any changes and are effectively communicated to customers


 

GS1/PEPPOL

  • Be a business leader supporting the GS1/PEPPOL Project ensuring adoption within JnJ UK is aligned and on track
  • Support internal and external stakeholders to understand NHS England requirements for the Scan4Safety initiative (GS1/PEPPOL)
  • Work with Global data teams to provide customer requested information to support GS1


 

General

  • Automate and streamline processes where possible driving continuous improvement
  • Ensure all SOPs/workflow charts/ Work Instructions etc are updated in line with requirements
  • Create a culture of Business Partnering with the aim of supporting and adding value to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain Customer engagement through face-to-face visits and relationship management calls where appropriate
  • Be an active member of relevant Projects linked to systems and data
  • Support the Tenders Team in contract/Framework set ups


 

Stakeholder relationships:

  • Strong relationships to be formed with Master Data, Commercial, Pricing, Product/Marketing and Sales teams 
  • Liaise as required with other departments such as Regulatory, Legal and Finance
  • Be a part of the wider Strategic Capabilities Team
  • Maintain strong Customer relationships including any 3rd Party representatives


 

Experience & Education Required:

  • University degree preferably with an emphasis in Data analysis, Business Information Technology
  • Solid experience in Systems and data support/Analytics/Project Management within Medical Devices/ Pharma preferred, with proven track record in change management.                               
  • Solid understanding of healthcare market dynamics
  • High learning agility
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed is strongly preferred. Ability to interact with and influence senior leadership teams required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving and process improvement skills.
  • Project Management skills preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across functional areas to deliver results.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced data systems - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, ERP is required.  
  • Excellent communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Travel may be required within the region.



 

In Return:

In return for this role you will receive a very competitive hourly rate. A minimum 12 month contract with a very high chance of extension & an opportunity to work with a Global Leader within the Pharmaceutical sector, Johnson & Johnson.
