Location: Leiden - Hybrid working - 3 days a week on site

roles and responsibilities
In this role you will strengthen site Leiden data systems for effective and robust new technology deployment. This will involve:
Standards & Documentation
Define Data engineering requirements for future data needs
Create a standard R&R on data product support model on site and to local
End user friendly data, tools and knowledge platform and (self-service) support for SynTQ , MVA and template for new technologies GDTA and Flow VPX
Platform alignment
Review and assess by FMEA our data architecture on site and with peer sites, and plan for ‘platform alignment.’
Implement standard workflow in Digital operating model & ES for flow to bring a data product from project to base
Data contextualization foundation
Add meaningful meta data to Leiden Information model to allow integration of MES data.
how to succeed
Specific knowledge
Required:
Experienced industrial automation engineer (5+ years)
Experienced in facilitating risk assessments and mitigation plans
Basic to expert knowledge of statistical tools for data analysis
Basic knowledge in quality (GxP) and data integrity/ALCOA
Preferred:
Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes & products and/or equipment & facility engineering (if applicable) especially for the involved technology platform.
Knowledge of manufacturing site systems and procedures.
Personal and interpersonal skills / Leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure, handle conflicting interests, and take decisions.
Strong analytical skills are a must
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently under general direction, having a good sense of prioritization of assigned tasks goals and manage time accordingly.
Customer and business focus.
Problem solving skills and attitude.
Hands-on, result oriented attitude.
Facilitator in decision -making process with stakeholders.
Personal attitude and mindset
Motivated, self-starter able to work independently with demonstrated problem solving skills. Team player.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP)

Safety, Health and Environment Performance
Adhere to applicable EH&S and procedures (role model)
Degree
Bachelor or Master Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Automation or other science related field
Languages
Required: Fluent in written and spoken English
Specific know how of systems
Experience in DeltaV, SynTQ, PAS-X MES, and/or OSI-soft PI

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 12 months and has a chance of extension.
