Location: Little Island, Cork

Working mode: Hybrid, min. 1-2 days per week on-site

Duration: 12 months

Hours: 39 hours per week

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Data/System Information Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to support business decision-making and system enhancements. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure data integrity, optimize systems, and deliver actionable insights that drive business growth.

  • Analyze business data and system information to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop data-driven solutions.

  • Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and secure.

  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders and drive decision-making.

  • Support system implementations, enhancements, and migrations, ensuring alignment with business needs.

  • Conduct data quality assessments and initiate corrective actions as necessary.

  • Provide training and support to users regarding system functionalities and data reporting.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics.

  • Assist in the formulation of data governance policies and ensure compliance with data regulations.


how to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence (BI), or systems management.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools like Tableau or Power BI).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with data governance principles and data privacy regulations is a plus.

  • Understanding of workflow automation tools and techniques.

  • Previous experience in a business analyst or data analyst role.
