PMO Coordinator – Data & Project Analytics


Location: Limerick, Ireland

Duration: 12 months

Hours: 40 hours per week


The PMO Coordinator is part of the PMO team within J&J Vision Care, based at the Limerick site and residing within the Manufacturing Engineering function. This team is responsible for driving a High-Performance culture, enabling and supporting the growth of base business as well as new product introductions in line with Vision Care's strategy.

This role will support the PMO process, business planning cycles, resource management process, and data processes for the Limerick PMO team. The successful candidate will coordinate project activities, host and facilitate governance meetings, pull and analyse project data from various sources, and present insights and recommendations through clear reporting and visualizations. A flexible, detail-oriented approach is essential, as this role will work across multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.


roles and responsibilities

  • Support the PMO process and day-to-day procedures and activities, including project funding approval, project execution governance, project resource management process, and reporting.

  • Support Project Managers in the execution of PMO process, procedures, templates, and reports.

  • Coordinate and host PMO governance meetings, steering committees, and project reviews, including preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and tracking follow-up actions.

  • Track deliverables, due dates, and ensure follow-up as needed through the Resource Management platform.

  • Pull, collect, clean, and organize project and business data from various systems and sources.

  • Generate ad hoc reports and dashboards to summarize findings and present them to stakeholders.

  • Report, monitor, and analyse performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for management teams.

  • Support periodic financial planning processes, ensuring quality standards of data.

  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate project/capital spend performance and reasons for variances, along with possible corrective actions.

  • Provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports, and documentation to management and business partners.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and recommend data-driven solutions.

  • Promote data governance accountability and continuously monitor data quality and accuracy to ensure reliable analysis.

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to questions from management.


how to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Industrial/Informatics Engineering.

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, analytics, project management, PMO, or a related field.

  • Proficient in Excel, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; SQL knowledge is an advantage.

  • Experience coordinating meetings and managing action items/follow-ups in a project or governance environment.

  • Prior experience in a cGXP environment within the medical device or FDA-regulated industry is an advantage.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for a 12 month period. This is an on-site position.
