Duration: Initially 12 months (opportunity for a contract extension)

Imagine your next project as Data Process Modeller at J&J Innovative Medicine. As part of this role, you will support modelling activities in the Manufacturing Science and Technology department within Johnson & Johnson innovative medicine. This would initially be approximately a 12-month contract position. The role will involve building real-time monitoring models using SIMCA and SIMCA Online to support various manufacturing processes at both internal and external drug substance and drug product facilities. In addition, the position would include modelling support for real time release and investigational support (with SIMCA, and python) for identifying process optimizations and/or root cause analysis. Finally, the role may also involve developing characterization models for specific stages of the manufacturing process. 

roles and responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy real-time multivariate monitoring models using SIMCA and SIMCA Online to support the technology transfer and manufacturing of various small molecule processes (drug substance and drug product)

  • Identify, develop and implement process improvement initiatives

  • Apply creative solutions to various data science projects

  • Provide technical support to process investigations

  • Create predictive models to help achieve optimal process performance

  • Maintaining and optimizing models, as well as tracking and trending key performance indicators (KPIs) related to these models.


how to succeed

Required:

  • Basic to expert knowledge of statistical tools for data analysis.

  • Basic knowledge in quality (GxP)

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Science, Math, Engineering or other science related field

  • Fluent in written and spoken English (Dutch is a plus)


Preferred:

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes & products and/or equipment especially for the involved technology platform (small molecule drug substance and product).

  • Knowledge of manufacturing site systems and procedures.

  • Experience with Simca and Python, knowledge of R, SQL, Java and other programming languages is a plus.

  • Experience with manufacturing data systems, process data historians, MES, SAP, E-lims

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
