Working mode: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH with occasional flexibility required)

Imagine your next project as Data Scientist. The Data Scientist will be a member of the Process Analytics team within Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT). They will contribute to the development of RTMVA (Real time multivariate analysis) models, visualization solutions and statistical analysis using mainly SIMCA.
roles and responsibilities
You will carry out data driven projects, implement process improvements, and contribute to the short- and long-term technology requirements for process analytics on the site. You will act as a specialist with regards to data analytics and multivariate analytics and be a key support to the Process Analytics Program at the Cork site. The focus of the function is on implementation of data analytics, RTMVA (Real Time Multi Variate Analytics) and machine learning based projects.
In addition, you will coordinate closely with your fellow Data Analytics team members on site to deliver projects and will have the opportunity to link with and collaborate with peers across other manufacturing sites within Janssen’s network to bring value to Cork through scalable solutions.
This will involve:
Working independently to meet deadlines while managing changing priorities to meet customer’s needs.
Work independently on projects that will be both strategic and tactical in nature.
Provide strategic direction using innovation and creative solutions.
Use effective internal/external influencing, interpersonal skills, negotiation, and conflict management skills to resolve relationship and project issues.
