Duration: 12 months (opportunity for a contract extension/permanent)

Imagine your next project as Demand Planner at J&J. In this role you will support the service and demand planning activities for a specific Sub-Franchise within CSS & Ethicon. The role involves accountability for the Final Consensus Forecast. This is a key support role within a Commercial Sub-Franchise that ensures accurate demand planning signals are sent through to the EMEA teams so that our customer expectations can be met and business plans can be achieved. Alongside this you are expected to look at the service element and make sure products are in the correct locations to support customer needs, whilst managing times of constraints.
roles and responsibilities
Key Supply Chain Business partner for all Internal functional.
Leading monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) drumbeat cycle meetings with Product Managers, Commercial and Finance partners supporting internal sales growth.
Submitting the Final Consensus Forecast (accuracy measured by MAPE, Bias and FVA) to the Region through the MagicTool forecasting and event management process, ensuring that the value output is in line with Financial Business Plans.
Manage UK/IE Product Life Cycle Process for Ethicon & CSS.
Responsible for maximizing UK inventory optimization through validating customer needs.
Identify trends and liaising with the Regional Plan Team to expedite and resolve issues
Continuing to develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.
Managing local Inventory levels Safety Stock Parameters, SLOB in line with internal Inventory targets.
Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed and strongly preferred.
Ability to interact with and influence senior leadership teams required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving and process improvement skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across functional areas to deliver results.
Executing seamless NPI Product life cycle launches via internal Launch Excellence Plans.
Manage UK/IE service. Maintain a good level of service to ensure on time delivery to customers and report on any disruptions.

how to succeed
Educated to Degree level, ideally in a Supply Chain or commercially orientated subject.
Minimum 1 - 3 years' experience in planning, sourcing or general supply chain/ S&OP management is required, ideally in the Medical Device or general Healthcare industries.

Excellent IT skills, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
Experience of Excel Macros and Power BI reporting
Ability to gain good customer & commercial understanding

Previous working with sophisticated business processes, and validated understanding of DP and/or ERP systems such as SAP and/or JDE 8.12 would be looked on favourably

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 12 months and has a strong chance of extension or the role to become permanent.
