Location: High Wycombe

roles and responsibilities

Leadership within the UK Digital Excellence CoE:

  • Manage close working relationships with the Content Hub and Channel Leads, as well as broader functional teams to ensure EMEA & OpCo strategic priorities are being delivered and realized.

  • Play a critical role of the UK One campaign Champion on the EMEA One campaign Champion network arena advocating for UK priorities and sharing Uk feedback as well as distributing key messages and comms across UK OPCO coming out of the Phoenix One Campaign network;

  • Own and lead on OpCo representation for all End-to-End strategic digital transformation initiatives Such as One Campaign delivered from the region.

  • Manage the Channel Leads initiatives through both local and regional change management programmes, whilst supporting them with setting strategic ambitions and delivery excellence within their SME areas.

  • Conduct various Agile ritual and cadences such as daily stand ups, sprint planning and retrospectives where appropriate to ensure operational excellence.

  • Set team-wide standards that are adopted via each Channel Lead to achieve successful project strategy, resource & delivery planning, risk & dependency management, key stakeholder engagement and project reporting.

  • Communicate priority level and timescale considerations across the multiple projects within the Digital Excellence CoE.

  • Effectively manage dependencies between varied programs and stakeholders.

  • Support development of better ways of collaborating across all CVTs and service teams (Operate, IT, Finance etc) as well as EMEA counterparts such as setting up new and / or optimise existing omnichannel & digital programmes governance, SOPs and processes to enable effective ways of working and communication across all stakeholders and facilitate faster and well-informed decision making.

  • Maintain close, daily relationships with our EMEA teams, internal and external delivery partners, including third party agencies, to ensure alignment of cross-programme dependencies.

  • Manage projects change, scope and expectations in line with local business priorities and roadmaps.

  • Manage Digital CoE budget; raising POs, forecasting spends, tracking actuals, estimating, and scheduling resources to ensure successful delivery of the performance.

  • Line management and development of Digital Delivery Manager(s)


Senior, cross-functional stakeholder responsibilities:

  • Represent key Digital Excellence CoE priorities within Senior stakeholder forums, such as Commercial Lead Forum, Medical Leadership Team, Phoenix Champions, Business Leaders Group and CDS teams ensuring the Digital Excellence Team has a strong ‘share of voice’ within the UK OpCo and EMEA.

  • Build and maintain meaningful senior stakeholder relationships across different functional areas of the business, to broaden the team’s visibility as the new Digital Excellence CoE and drive engagement behind key regional initiatives the DX team is leading.

  • Ensure alignment across all senior internal and external partner teams to warrant project goals are achieved and delivered on time and within scope.

  • Influence and manage complex stakeholder groups and highlight need for senior level support / decision making and escalate / flag issues where appropriate.


how to succeed

  • 3-5 years of experience in successfully delivering digital transformation programmes and projects across both technology / tools delivery and business change.

  • Proven ability of successfully gaining the involvement and engagement of a wide range of senior stakeholders and leadership team. Demonstrating a high resilience to appropriately handle conflicting priorities.

  • An effective communicator, with the ability to cut through the noise and articulate the problem/challenge to all levels.

  • The ability to empower the teams to take responsibility for their deliverables whilst clearly articulating the plan and critical path to release value to the customer & business.

  • Experienced Agile practitioner (Scrum preferrable).

  • Experience of operating within a regulated environment.
