In this role, you will execute routine and non-routine tasks, leveraging your subject matter expertise in equipment for projects, processes, and improvements.
Work autonomously while collaborating with your colleagues in the Centre of Expertise; division Primary Recovery (PR) and in multidisciplinary teams to improve critical PR systems, prevent contamination, and drive operational excellence. Your effective communication skills will be vital in escalating issues and risks as needed. roles and responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) through regular reviews of deliverables and documentation of equipment processes and procedures.
Lead an Asset Team to maintain up-to-date asset data, swiftly identifying issues and signalling asset replacement needs as part of the annual update of the 5 year plan. Also support the introduction of new equipment/systems.
Analyse root causes of equipment failures and inefficiencies by collaborating with Troubleshooters and Operations team to develop strategies that minimize downtime and losses.
Conduct Gemba walks to review the correct use of equipment by manufacturing operators, driving sustainable improvements in safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.
Serve as the expert on contamination prevention within a multidisciplinary team, guiding best practices and fostering a culture of vigilance to ensure product integrity and safety.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by creating training programs and promoting trusting and inclusive relationships within the team.
how to succeed
University Bachelor’s or Master's in Bioprocessing, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or a related field
At least 3 years of proven experience in biopharmaceutical processing for a BSc or at least 1,5 years for a MSc.
Professional English proficiency (B2 level)
Knowledge of GMP requirements and upstream processing operations
