General Summary
The Financial Systems & Data Integrity contractor role focuses on securing the operational business as well as driving continuous improvements in both Finance Systems and Finance Processes by leveraging the capabilities of the ERP and Signify CFIN and Data Hub based reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
- Be a key contributor in the CFIN Continuous Accounting set up, drive resolutions to data replication and accuracy challenges as well as setting up long term strategic corrections to ensure data validity and conformity to corporate reporting standards
- Support the defect triage process and ensure appropriate disposition of issues, following up to conclusion of all systems constraints using the Service Management
- Tool capabilities:
- Be responsible for the CFIN Derivation Table concept, ensure data quality by conducting regular reviews and provide proactive maintenance to avoid CFIN replication errors
- Support system enhancements and project implementations through translated requirements, documentation, gap analysis, optimal solution design and hypercare
- Analyze and challenge existing processes to facilitate transfer from legacy regional processes to the new SIGNIFI process
- Challenge master data and business processes to ensure adherence to global standards and end-state design
- Lead and manage the delivery of the systems module within projects and enhancements to support continuous improvements as well as enterprise projects and initiatives
- Explore new solutions and feasibility based on existing systems capabilities and user requirements
- Provide financial business process and system expertise/guidance to regional business partners
- Support the deployment of new functionality, including integration of purchased tools, through hypercare
- Understand and meet all IT release deadlines
- Communicate financial business processes and system solutions to peers across regions and platforms
- Create training documentation and/or conduct system training for business partners on all implemented tools
- Strictly comply with all compliance and business policies including SOX cycles, SOPs, internal & external audit requirements, and system security protocols.
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place to achieve “Adequate” internal and external audit rating
- Assist with Manager responsibilities, as requested ensuring that the Team Manager is aligned on priorities, progress and challenges – escalating appropriately when required
Qualifications/Requirements
- A recognized accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) is required with a minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ strong transactional experience with SAP ERP system. A SAP FICO certification is preferred
- Working knowledge of reporting tools like SAP BI, CFIN, Analysis for Office and Alteryx is desirable
- Experience in supporting business applications such as Ariba, Concur, Blackline, an High Radius is helpful
- Strong understanding of financial business processes and reporting in areas such as A2R, R2R, P2P, and I2C
- Experience with system enhancement process, project implementation, and testing protocol
- Experience with global collaboration, operating model strategy and system implementation
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, understanding the interaction of data, financial reporting and business planning – Accountancy qualification is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, problem solving and team communication skills, need to be able to lead conversations in virtual meetings
- Attention to details, ability to prioritise and plan effectively, initiative to follow through on directives, and knowledge and sensitivity to global
- partners/cultures/norms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, be engaged in meetings maintaining the ‘big picture’ mindset and able to challenge status quo
- Advanced framing skills for presentation & communication at all levels of the organisation
- This position may require up to 10% travel, domestic or international
