Imagine your next project as a Financial Analyst to join the Global Supply Chain Finance team at Kenvue / Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health. Your key remit will be to deliver finance support to the business partners, provide robust value-added analysis (accurate, fact-based and timely) for sound decision making and participate in cross-functional projects.


roles and responsibilities


This will involve: 


  • Own the end-to-end finance support for the Global Plan budget, independently managing and owning all required activities (incl. cost controlling, leading forecast cycles, performing closing activities as applicable). This includes identifying and managing risks to support the business in delivery of financial commitments and execution of business strategies, providing insights into risks and opportunities in full year forecasts as well as providing insight and commentary around Business Units’ results for month and quarter end closes to ensure that business partners are aware of issues and areas of opportunity.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to shape and successfully execute Inventory related projects and address unmet needs, with the objective to optimise Inventory levels across the company and improve the Inventory forecast predictability. This will range from improving governance to standardising reviews (as well as other cross-regional standardisation initiatives), as well as enhancing analytical and reporting capabilities (including partnering with Digital Transformation and IT teams to develop new solutions which meet the business needs and/or automate select existing reports).

  • Undertake financial analysis of new business opportunities, challenging assumptions made by Operations teams to ensure that the most value adding opportunities are pursued. Support Capital appropriation requests as needed.

  • Pro-actively help to identify, then lead or support continuous process improvements for financial processes & Inventory-related analytics (including pro-actively identifying unmet needs opportunities).

  • Support ad-hoc analysis, projects, processes and requests as required.

  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls related to area of responsibility (local government and company regulations, policies and procedures etc.)


how to succeed

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Financial controlling experience, Finance and Accounting knowledge, Technology proficiency in Microsoft Office (incl. strong Excel skills), Fluency in spoken and written English

  • Finance certification (CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent) or advanced degree

  • Previous finance experience in Supply Chain and with Inventory related topics is a plus

  • Finance business partnering experience (with remote business partners is a plus), along with demonstrated ability to gain trust and seat at table

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and pick up new information quickly

  • Working knowledge of SAP ERP

  • Strong business acumen

  • Clear and confident manner to interact with cross functional teams and effective communication, collaboration, listening and influencing skills to successfully lead and collaborate in a highly matrixed environment

  • Ability to work independently, handle several tasks simultaneously, self-prioritise and balance workload

  • Experience partnering with IT / Digital teams to design new solutions or enhance / automate existing reporting capabilities.

  • Innovation oriented with strong information technology / data analytics acumen (specifically proficiency with or strong willingness to learn RPA and Data visualisation tools e.g. Microsoft Power Suite, Alteryx, Tableau etc.) is a plus
