DePuy Synthes, a market-leading Medical Devices business within Johnson & Johnson, has an outstanding opportunity for a Financial Analyst within the Hospital Medical Device (HMD) Principal, Inventory and Costing, Centre of Excellence (PIC COE). This Financial Analyst position operates in a dynamic global environment supporting multiple World-Wide Business Unit Directors to achieve inventory targets and deliver inventory reductions and efficiencies.


roles and responsibilities

  • Primary Finance business partner for the PIC COE inventory reporting team, supporting the operational reporting of Joints Gross and Net inventory

  • Reporting, forecasting and analysis of Joint Reconstruction balance sheet inventory reserves

  • Provide support to cross-functional projects impacting inventory and supply chain product flows

  • Partner with the PLAN functional leads in the PIC COE for S&OP and inventory

  • Ensure compliance to J&J World-Wide Procedures (WWP) and SOX controls

  • Maintaining the highest compliance standards and assisting in audit and SOX compliance testing


how to succeed

You will also bring:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant


Desirable:

  • 3+ years of relevant multinational experience

  • Supply chain finance experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry an advantage

  • Proven track record in multicultural business partnering

Key competencies:

  • Good analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player and willing to work in a flexible environment

  • Results orientated

  • Accuracy with attention to detail

  • Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge
