IT Business Analyst - High Wycombe

The Role:
The IT Business Analyst will own data model/process/design documentation and make sure it is kept up to date, support SDLC documentation completion, SOP updates. They will proactively identify business problem and conditions and propose business process and/or system enhancements and support the governance process with inputs to drive alignment across the board.
They will proactively determine what compliance, security and risk processes that will apply and need to be followed including leading conversations with key JJT partners, and ensuring adherence to privacy, regulatory and record retention considerations.
Engage in key initiatives to optimize or create new digital products, focused on the implementation and evolution of our Product Information Management and Marketing Operations capabilities, to advance our position in Digital and eCommerce.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Build knowledge around the Salsify/PIM solutions, Digital asset management, Content creation and approval processes, the EMEA and local data models.
Be familiar with the EMEA Salsify data dictionary.
Support the Salsify implementation and devops team with
- discovery and gather Marketing, eCommerce, IT, Compliance, Security, and other cross-functional requirements to determine impacts:
- identify, interpret, analyse, validate, and document local market requirements and data needs
- crosscheck data requirements with regional and other cluster data models
- Drive consistency and standards (naming conventions, sourcing, etc)
- check if data requirements can be sourced from existing interfaced systems
- Analyse interface change requirements
- Author requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria to contribute to the product backlogs. Partner with our product development teams to lead daily scrums, backlog grooming sessions and sprint planning as necessary to clarify product requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team and communicate vision to developers and testers with functional details. Ensure product development teams are interpreting and implementing requirements accurately, guided by acceptance criteria and scrum ceremonies.
- Support acceptance testing activities, including the development/review of test plans and test scripts, execution of system/integration/regression testing, and partnering with key business partners to drive user acceptance test execution, ensuring that that the solutions being delivered meet the product requirements.
- Partner with Product Owner and Business Partners to develop demo content suitable for training and general education including but not limited to videos, forums, or live training sessions
- Own data model/process/design documentation and make sure it is kept up to date, support SDLC documentation completion, SOP updates.
- Proactively identify business problem and conditions and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
- Support the governance process with inputs to drive alignment across the board.
Qualifications / Experience sought:
- 5+ years in business analysis
- Experience in e-comm/PIM/Master data domains,
- experience in multinational complex working environment
- managing multiple stakeholders on cross functional project team
- Knowledge of SDLC processes and agile tools (JIRA, XRAY) are advantage
Other Requirements:
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and design skills
- Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
- Be able to manage complexity and perform in multiple parallel workstreams
- Good facilitation skills. Ability to work in a complex team environment, effectively interacting with others.
- Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a go-getter / can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
- Ability to translate business requirements into Technical Epics/Stories. Experience working across multiple levels of business and IT stakeholders.
- Strong personal commitment to continuous business improvement, and effectively collaborating and managing our business stakeholders
- Ability to work in an Agile environment. Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity, capable to change priorities quickly.
- Follows clear and concise documentation practices to keep all relevant technical and business documentation up to date (specifications, design and process documents)
