Junior Asset Care & Reliability Project Engineer

Location: Limerick

Duration: 12 months

Hours: 39 hours

Imagine your next project taking full ownership of establishing a site asset register that serves as the technical foundation for high-impact healthcare manufacturing and eCMMS deployment.

The Asset Care & Reliability Project Engineer is responsible for developing, structuring and maintaining the site asset register as the technical foundation for effective asset management and eCMMS deployment. The role ensures that asset hierarchy, equipment records, tag structures, functional locations, maintenance master data and spare parts information are accurate, standardized and fit for operational use.

roles and responsibilities.

  • Develop, maintain and validate the site asset register within the eCMMS, ensuring asset hierarchy, equipment taxonomy, naming standards, tag structures, functional locations, criticality data and equipment records are complete, structured and technically aligned to site asset management requirements.

  • Review, cleanse and standardize asset, maintenance and equipment master data to support eCMMS migration, configuration, system readiness and sustained data integrity, including identification of gaps, duplicate records, data quality issues and misalignment between physical assets and system records.

  • Support spare parts master data improvement through standardized descriptions, duplicate reduction, critical spare identification and accurate linkage of parts to assets, equipment records, manufacturer references and equipment BOM structures.

  • Support the establishment of asset data standards, equipment classification, naming conventions, coding structures and master data governance practices to protect the quality, consistency and sustainability of the asset register.

  • Support preparation of asset and spare parts master data for eCMMS migration, configuration, testing and ongoing operational use, including data loading, validation support and issue resolution to ensure records are complete, consistent and deployment-ready.

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, operations and stores to ensure asset register and spare parts data meet site standards and support effective maintenance planning, work execution, PM development and asset care decision-making.

  • Support development of asset hierarchy and equipment structures that reflect plant, system, sub-system and equipment relationships, ensuring logical alignment between physical assets and eCMMS records.

  • Support alignment of asset register data with preventative maintenance strategies, equipment criticality assessments and maintenance plan structures to enable effective planning and reliability improvement.

  • Verify asset and equipment data against drawings, equipment nameplates, vendor documentation and site records to improve the technical accuracy and completeness of the asset register.

  • Support technical linkage between assets, spare parts and equipment BOMs to improve traceability, spare identification and maintenance execution within the eCMMS.

  • Provide technical support during eCMMS data migration and testing activities by assisting with data validation, issue resolution and record readiness for operational deployment.

how to succeed.
