Imagine your next role as a Launch & Project Specialist focusing on the timely launch execution in APAC, EMEA, and LATAM.
For this position, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader who can collaborate effectively and communicate proactively with cross-functional team members and management.
About the department:
The Supply Chain Development (SCDL) team is responsible and accountable to develop and implement an efficient, robust, and compliant end to end supply chain for new products or established products, including their successful launch into the global commercial markets by coordinating the execution of key functional group activities. The SCD team provides representation of the end-to-end supply function on new product teams being led by the Value Chain Leader and provides JSC representation on the Global / Regional Commercial Teams, Integrated Brand Value Teams, and Local JSC Launch Teams. The SCD team will also be part of VCD&O- PMO core project team for PMO projects.
About the role:
This role will lead tactical new product launches and/or Project execution in partnership with Janssen affiliates with a focus on system setup, artwork creation, packaging, and distribution as per the Regulatory and Commercial strategy into Global Markets across Launch & Grow, Value Optimizer, and late-stage products.
This role will coordinate cross-functional Janssen Supply Chain teams to support key deliverables associated with on-time launch execution and/or on time Project execution and will also own all aspects of SCD performance management, metrics, and on-time launch and or Project execution database management.
This role will be involved in stretch assignments within the VCD&O organization. The SCD L&PS is required to participate in the interviewing process for future candidates with the ability to put a diverse mindset on. An additional skill is the coaching and onboarding of new members into our team, to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity of first-in-class business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Compliance, Finance, Planning, PaCOE, Deliver, and other necessary functions to ensure on-time execution of new product launches or projects globally in alignment with the global launch or project strategy.
Contribute to the development of departmental strategies.
Leverage formal project management tools (e.g. FPX) in the delivery of business objectives.
Communicate effectively across disciplines and companies to keep management and key stakeholders informed of project status, issues, conflicts, and mitigating actions as necessary.
Collaborate and influence the stakeholder's senior management.
Interact with other functional groups in JSC and with Regulatory Affairs and Commercial Companies.
Is the key Supply Chain representative and an ad hoc member of the Value Chain Team keeping the team up-to-date on launch and project execution.
how to succeed:
Supply chain experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
Experience in launching new pharmaceutical products is required.
Strong customer and patient focus.
Ability to communicate effectively to international cross-functional stakeholders and management and understand what information stakeholders need to make better decisions and communicate proactively and clearly at all levels in the organization.
Excellent analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset are an absolute requirement.
Planning and project management skills with the ability to handle complex projects with competing priorities. Often requires time to develop creative solutions to meet timelines.
Show attention to detail without losing the high-level view.
Feel comfortable working in an international and rapidly changing environment. Adopts quickly to new concepts, processes, and systems.
Contribute to an open and positive team spirit and act as a role model for the team.
A willingness to learn via GROW program assignments, job shadowing, project opportunities, etc, often while keeping operational tasks.
Knowledge of Regulatory/Compliance Guidelines is required.
Shows interest in new technologies and investigates how to use them.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate & a supportive working environment. The role will run initially for a year and the first contract is initially until 31/12/2024.
