Location:  Leiden (onsite, shift work pattern 24/7 - 3 different work patterns)

Essential: Conversational in English & Dutch 

Background: Maintenance,  production equipment,  repair, breakdowns, electrical equipment, instrumental maintenance

Contract: 12 months -(permanent option  thereafter)

Janssen Biologics BV needs first-line technicians in shifts (24/7) for Leiden/Sassenheim, Netherlands.

Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.The Make Asset Management team (MAM) makes projects, designs and fixes machines, makes utilities, and takes care of the technical systems at Janssen Biologics. We take care of the machines and keep them working well. We will also take care of a new factory in Sassenheim, Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a technician, you will fix problems with machines in Leiden and Sassenheim. You will work on utilities, labs, and production systems. Problems can be with machines, electricity, or tools.

• You will decide what to fix first. Then, you will fix the problem safely. You need to be good at fixing problems and pay attention to safety.

• Technicians work in teams of 4 or 5 people. You will work in shifts (24/7) to keep the machines running. You will get help from other workers. You will also help with keeping the machines working well. All work follows the rules.

Required Skills and Experience:

• You need to have a technical education (MBO4).

• Experience in a medicine factory is good.

• At least 3 years of work as a technician.

• A driver's license (B).

• Know safety rules (VCA and NEN3140).

• Good at fixing technical problems.

• Like safety and follow rules.

• You are a problem solver, motivated and driven
