This role is remote but you must be UK based.

The Project/Role:

The Marketing Manager Cough & Cold is a pivotal role at the intersection of the global need state strategy and local brand relevance and implementation. The Marketing Manager will ensure regional and local alignment for the need states plans and will actively support the markets with roll out of existing products, e-commerce acceleration, consumer, and HCP content. 

In addition, the Marketing Manager will identify opportunities to accelerate growth in our lead markets and enable scaling in adapt markets. He or she will develop transferable success models across countries, transferring learnings and best practices in the region in partnership with the global franchise team. In this respect, the ability to influence, communicate and collaborate is important.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with lead markets on brand content (consumer & HCP)
• Supporting Innovation pipeline (regional and global projects)
• Develop with the markets brand strategies and plans to grow the business in existing and new markets

The Marketing Manager will ensure DMC and local alignment:  

• Have close partnership with lead markets marketing leads 
• Act as conduit of communication between local market and global franchise
• Lead DMC project teams to implement innovation including regional governance, content development and toolkits 
• Partner with medical, regulatory, project management and R&D

Professional Experience Required:

• Marketing experience in OTC / CPG brand management (MM, SBM / evidence of career progression), ideally working within matrix environment.
• A strong grasp of strategic marketing is required, with experience of all the key brand disciplines: brand positioning / new product development/ content and campaign development with digital first approach, e-commerce / claims development
• Demonstrate strategic agility, and manage multiple projects of high complexity across teams

Education Requirements: 

• A BA degree 
• Fluency in a second language is preferred but not required

Other Requirements:

• Effective interdependent partnering, collaboration, influencing & communication skills 
• A genuine team player with a real desire to constantly learn & share ideas 
• Agile and able to change behaviour across range of situations

In return for this role you will receive a very competitive hourly rate. A minimum 12 month contract & an opportunity to work with a Global Leader within the Pharmaceutical sector, Johnson & Johnson.
