EMEA Medical Performance Analytics Expert


Location: Remote (Multicountry - UK or Switzerland)

Duration: End of 2024 initially with possible extensions

Imagine your next project as a Medical Performance Analytics Expert, working at the forefront of cutting edge work and technology with one of the leading Pharmaceutical companies in the world! This is a really exciting contract role within a major innovative pharmaceutical company, focused on user-centric, intuitive design, as part of the Data Science & Analytics team.


roles and responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of an integrated Medical Customer Journey solution through a series of 8+ performance dashboards, enhancing medical team engagements and insights.


This will involve: 

  • Partner with medical teams for end-to-end dashboard development: requirements, design, development, and release.

  • Support Medical Affairs in communicating value and insights, facilitating business rule creation.

  • Translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Lead the integration of new data sources for enriched customer knowledge.

  • Serve as product owner for analytics solution development; communicate dashboard roadmap and priorities.

  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

  • Manage requirements from operating companies and external partners.

  • Customise solution rollout and maintenance at the country level.

  • Implement Data Stewardship for medical interactions.

  • Support change management to drive solution adoption, including training material creation and capability building for users.


how to succeed

  • 3+ years in commercial/medical analytics; strong business acumen.

  • Minimum 5 years in diverse project roles; solid grounding in statistics/math and Pharma industry. Extensive understanding of HCP Medical interactions.

  • Strong background in developing reporting solutions; familiarity with Qlik Sense.


  • Proven experience in global or regional roles with cross-functional teams.

  • A passion for user-centric, intuitive design (UX) is key.

  • Practical experience with pharmaceutical omnichannel engine rollouts preferred.

  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of Data Strategy and Advanced Analytics (AA) beneficial.


  • Leadership:

    • Proven ability to design and implement solutions independently.

    • Demonstrates a passion for challenging the status quo; seeks innovative solutions.

    • Agile teamwork experience desirable.

    • Ownership of end-to-end use cases, showcasing fierce curiosity and problem-solving.

    • Effective leadership and team collaboration skills.

    • Excellent communication skills; confident in engaging with business stakeholders.
