The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Psoriatic Arthritis will serve as a scientific expert and key link between Johnson & Johnson and healthcare professionals (HCPs) across Ireland. The MSL will facilitate the exchange of scientific information and ensure the latest data and insights in psoriatic arthritis are communicated effectively to the medical community.
Roles and Responsibilities
Scientific Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with HCPs, key opinion leaders, and academic institutions in the field of rheumatology and psoriatic arthritis. Translate complex scientific data into clear, actionable insights for healthcare professionals.
Education & Training: Deliver balanced, evidence-based presentations and discussions on Johnson & Johnson’s products, research, and therapeutic advances in psoriatic arthritis.
Field-Based Support: Respond to scientific and clinical inquiries from HCPs, providing up-to-date information and support for clinical practice.
Congress & Meeting Attendance: Represent Johnson & Johnson at national and international scientific congresses, meetings, and training events.
Internal Collaboration: Share field insights with internal teams to inform strategy and support medical affairs activities.
How to succeed
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific discipline (e.g., life sciences, pharmacy, medicine).
Experience: Demonstrated workplace experience in a scientific or healthcare setting. Prior MSL experience is not required.
Skills:
Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Personable, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to translate scientific data for diverse audiences.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Ireland and internationally for congresses and meetings.
Driving: Full Irish driver’s license and access to own car.
Benefits
This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 12 moths.
